Making Kin: A Collective Meal Construction

As part of the Making Kin exhibition, this dinner explores connectivity and kinship through the act of constructing a meal collectively – ingredient by ingredient. Each attendee is asked to come on their own, with an openness to get their hands dirty and engage with the newly acquainted. Orchestrated by Grace Denis and Kira Lillie, this communal experience coalesces into a plant-based meal through a mingling with organic elements.

This intimate experience is limited to 16 participants. NAVEL has made two reduced price tickets available, first-come, first-served, for folks for whom financial costs may pose a barrier to attendance; get in touch with amanda@navel.la
