Queer Maps Launch

PRESALES FOR THIS EVENT ARE CLOSED.
A handful of $15 tickets will be available at the door. We recommend arriving before 9PM as we expect to reach capacity throughout the night.

From the makers of Spotlight comes a new online resource to help track down the queer spaces, politically-significant sites, and secret spots that have helped shape Los Angeles into the culturally-rich city we know today.

Queer Maps is an interactive, online map of addresses of active LGBTQ organizations, bars, nightclubs, etc. in Los Angeles from 1871 to today. It’s a living database with photos, advertisements, videos, descriptions, and more. Best of all, it’s free to use.

Join us on November 15 to cruise through reimagined versions of lost queer bars, nightclubs, cabarets, political sites, and meetup areas — and help launch this brand new tool to visualize Los Angeles’s queer landscape.

Featuring installations from:
Adrian Gilliland
Marval A Rex
