Winter Programming Hiatus
After two non-stop years of producing programs and events, building community, and making kin, we are taking a (much-needed) hiatus from our regular programming of events to rethink and reimagine the structure and processes at NAVEL to ensure we are in alignment with our mission to be a test site for collectivity and kinship.
We’ll continue to hold space for ASSEMBLIES, as well as the Collective Residency meetings and occasional events, and will resume our regular programming in May 2020.
Over the next few months we’ll be planning for the next five years of the organization, realigning our mission and vision, clarifying our community values, reimagining our governance structure, and strategizing towards a more sustainable financial model so that we can continue to imagine a more just, creative, and collaborative world, together.
We cannot do this work without voices and input from the community, so be on the lookout for opportunities to share your experiences, needs, and desires for the future of NAVEL!
PS - NAVEL is still available for private rental while we are on hiatus. Contact [location@navel.la](mailto: location@navel.la) with rental inquiries or to request more information.
