Hours
By appointment only. Check the program to see what’s on view at the moment, as open hours vary with each exhibition and event.

Entrance
The direct entrance to our space is located through a large black gate on Venice Blvd. Follow the posted sign to the gate and enter through the first door on the left just past the gate.

Public Transport
If you’re arriving via Metro, the closest station is the Pico Station on the Blue & Expo Lines. If you’re arriving via Lyft/Uber, then use 418 Venice Blvd. as your destination and this will drop you off right in front of the black gate.

Parking
From 9:00am-4:00pm Monday - Friday, parking is available in the lot connected to our building, payable in cash only to the Unified Parking attendant onsite.

At all other times, self parking is available in the parking lot adjacent to our lot and directly underneath the I-10 freeway, also cash only, payable to the United Valet Parking staff onsite or the payment box near the entrance.

Street parking is also usually available. Never park in the lot connected to our building if there is not an attendant present, as you may be towed.

Accessibility
NAVEL’s main entrance is not wheelchair accessible, but our Hope Street entrance is. To access the elevator, call (213) 340-4213 or select NAVEL on the dial box. Note that our restrooms are wheelchair accessible for average-sized wheelchairs only.

Admission to events is often free or has a sliding scale option. All ages are welcome unless otherwise specified. Some events may feature flashing lights and loud music.
